An interactive textbook and simulation-based environment
for learning about cardiovascular physiology, hemodynamics and therapeutics

The Harvi learning platform is based on a sophisticated high-fidelity web-based cardiovascular simulator that has been in development for over 30 years. Originally developed as a research tool, the simulator is also a powerful educational resource that is coupled with a set of online textbooks (Student, Advanced, ECMO) to provide a unique, immersive and interactive learning experience. Material is presented through a series of guided tutorials which allow for learners to interact with the cardiovascular system and learn physiologic and explore consequences of management decisions. Currently, the Student and ECMO books are available in 9 languages.
